Lube “C” Technician

Job Duties:

• Perform and understand detailed inspections and preventive maintenance schedules of equipment. Making sure equipment is safe and maintained to DOT and Cowan Standards
• Perform preventive maintenance services and minor repairs on equipment in a timely manner with little supervision under the guidance of the Advanced Diesel Diagnostic “A” Technician, and Diesel Service “B” Technician.
• Keeping work areas clean and safe for you and others.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• 1 year or more of practical experience with tractor and or trailer maintenance and minor repairs.
• Experienced using tools of the trade (hand and power tools).
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces. Standing or reaching in awkward and sometimes uncomfortable positions to work on equipment.
• Must provide own tools required for regular maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Must be a driven individual, possessing a positive attitude, good work ethic, and someone who strives to learn and improve their skill level.
