Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am

Home Staff Inc. is the leading provider of home health care services in the Chicago area. We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. As an LPN with Home Staff Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in their homes, following established care plans and protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and health status.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and treatment options.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Perform wound care and dressings as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in home health care or a similar setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and common diseases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound nursing judgments.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
