Kennel Supervisor (Pm Shift) At Pet Care Plus

Pet Care Plus in Chicago, IL is looking for one Kennel Supervisor (Pm Shift) to join our 22 person strong team. We are located on 350 N Laflin St.. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise PM kennel staff, providing guidance and training as needed

- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kennel areas

- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the Management team

-Organize and put together evening play groups

- Administer medications and treatments as directed by Management

- Provide exercise and socialization opportunities for animals in our care

- Communicate with pet owners regarding their pets' well-being and any special instructions or requests-

Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a kennel environment or similar role is required

- Knowledge of animal handling techniques and best practices

- Familiarity with dog breeds and and personalities encouraged

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners

- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks as needed

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $18.50 - $21.00/hour.
