Job description

Adecco is currently in the process of recruiting an RN Memory Care Manager for the Memory Care division of a non- profit Senior Assisted Living Community located in Dousman, WI.

****The anticipated wage for this position is between $55-$60.

Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Requirements:

·         Previous experience working in Memory Care is a must

·         Associate degree in Healthcare  Discipline

·    Must have an active and valid Registered Nurse License in the state of WI

·         CBRF Manager Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

·         First Aid and fire safety training (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

·         Ability to plan, direct and supervisor daily care of the elderly.

·         Ability to manage, evaluate and supervise staff.

·         3 or more years of work experience in a health care geriatric setting with Dementia or Mental Health managerial responsibilities.

 

 

We’re looking for a Memory Care Manager to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the administrative and professional functions for one location. This person will ensure quality care and services are provided for the residents and will be accountable for nursing responsibilities.

Principle Accountabilities:

Resident Care Maintain timely and accurate written charts/documents/records as required by law/regulations/company policies and procedures. Maintain a professional relationship with medical staff and consultants.

Administration: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal operating regulations. Represent as CBRF at community activities and encourage community involvement. Develop budget and operate within budgetary guidelines, hold department staff accountable for operating within budget, and purchase routine equipment and supplies. Compile and analyze operational data to efficiently manage the quality and cost of service provided as well as plan for new service development. Make decisions based on factual information and logical conclusion as well as consider alternative courses of action and their consequences before acting. Develop and revise policies and procedures to maintain quality care, ensure a safe working environment, and meet regulatory requirements for staff and residents. Maintain good flow of communication between staff. Preserve confidentiality

Supervise Staff: Hire, train, and develop Resident Technicians. Coach and supervise Resident Technicians. Conduct fair, accurate, and timely performance evaluations and administer fair and consistent discipline. Schedule Resident Technicians to staff location 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Maintain accountability for all tasks, duties, or activities of staff. Meet regularly with staff from PM and night shifts to assure continuity of care. Set an exemplary model for staff through professional appearance, treatment of employees, and showing dedication to company goals. Assist with teaching and instructing of Resident Technicians as required. Demonstrating techniques and equipment as necessary.

Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets for location. Promptly investigate and follow through on all resident and employee incidents/injuries. Provide a safe working environment for employees with an effective safety program to prevent injuries and return to work programs for those injured on the job. Follow safety, security, infection control (including Standard Precautions) and hazardous materials policies and procedures. Perform all tasks to assure resident and personal safety and the protection of the property.

Qualifications: Minimum Education, Certifications and/or Licensure: Associates Degree in a Healthcare discipline Active CBRF Certification Active CPR Certification Fire Safety Training Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare geriatric setting with managerial responsibilities. Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office Physical Requirements: Sit, stand, bend, and push/pull frequently. Lift objects weighing up to 50lbs frequently. Mental Requirements: Read, write, and speak English fluently. Handle hostile or emotionally upset residents, staff, families, etc. Able to plan, direct, and supervise daily care of the elderly. Able to manage, evaluate, and supervise staff. COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinations Required

 

 Physical Requirements: Sit, stand, bend, and push/pull frequently. Lift objects weighing up to 50lbs frequently. Mental Requirements: Read, write, and speak English fluently. Handle hostile or emotionally upset residents, staff, families, etc. Able to plan, direct, and supervise daily care of the elderly. Able to manage, evaluate, and supervise staff. Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
