Job Summary:
The Regional Revenue Cycle Analyst (RRCA) is responsible for front-end and back-end Revenue Cycle activities for the assigned area. Duties include:
Front-end (eligibility verification and enrollment activities) and
Back-end billing functions, preparing claims files, submitting files to payers, receiving remit files from payers, and posting payments.
Also works denials, identifies trends, escalates issues and coordinates all activities with the Director Enrollment/Eligibility and the Director of Claims Administration or their designees.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing healthcare reimbursement, behavioral health insurance/billing or related work required.
Two (2) or more years of experience with Medicaid/private insurance verification experience, ideally in a behavioral health setting, preferred.
