LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LTC)

Job Type: 13 week contract with possible extension

Shift: 8 hrs/Day, 10 hrs/Day

Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs/week

Salary Gross: $1,800 to 2,000 weekly

Shift: Day/Evening/Night (All shifts available)

Note: We have multiple positions in San Pedro, CA and other nearby locations Napa, Apple Valley, San Jose, Lose Angeles, Santa Monica, Torrance.

Experience:
- Must have a valid LPN license.
LPN LTC (Long Term Care) +1 year experience

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition. Monitor residents for signs of pain, discomfort, or deterioration in health and report findings to the registered nurse (RN) or physician.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate dosing, timing, and documentation. Monitor residents for medication side effects and adverse reactions, and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
• Wound Care and Dressing Changes: Provide wound care, including assessing and cleaning wounds, applying dressings, and monitoring wound healing progress. Document wound assessments, interventions, and outcomes in resident medical records.
• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist residents with activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and feeding. Provide support and encouragement to promote independence and maintain residents' dignity and quality of life.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per week
