Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
- Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Adhere to coding standards and ensure accurate documentation of patient care
- Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment
- Perform procedures such as gastric lavage, IV infusion, and neonatal ventilator management
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and infection control practices
- Familiarity with coding standards and documentation requirements
- Ability to perform sterile processing procedures
- Proficient in administering medications and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
