Low Voltage Technician

DeForest Tech Solutions (DTS) is currently seeking a Low Voltage Technician to join our team. Our company is looking for motivated individuals who enjoy learning and problem solving.

Responsibilities:

• Install and terminate cabling for Audio, Video, Surveillance, Access Control, & Network Systems.
• Install various types of conduit, raceway, and cable tray systems.
• Build and dress cabling and hardware in equipment racks.
• Keep jobsite materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.

​​Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or certification preferred
• Experience with technology systems (AV, Networks, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent customer service skills
• Ability to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manager
• Ability to lift to 55 pounds
• Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with electrical equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Willing to travel if needed
• Ability to pass drug/background check when required
