We are Hiring Low Voltage Controls Installer - Apprentice

Apprentice's will be assigned tasks assisting DDC (digital direct control) technicians while learning the Low Voltage Building Automations Systems trade. Each apprentice will begin to assemble the tools, knowledge, and experience needed to advance to the position of a low-voltage installer and DDC/BAS technician.

What you will be doing / learning:

• Commercial new construction and remodel job sites
  • Office buildings, hospitals, schools, high-rise buildings etc.
• Assisting DDC technicians
• Learning Low Voltage Building Automation Systems
• Installing Low Voltage wire, conduit, DDC controllers, and temperature control devices
• Read/ interpret product manufacturer instruction, drawings and specifications
• Working in ceilings off a 6' - 10' latter
• Investing in hand / power tools required for scope of work

Qualifications / Skills:

• Valid driver's license
• Able to read / interpret product manual instructions
• Some experience in electrical Low Voltage or similar industry desired
• Mechanical aptitude
• Able to work off latter
• Willing to invest in tools
• Excellent work ethic and attitude
• Dedicated to learning the industry and industry standards
• Good attendance

Job Title: Low Voltage Controls Installer - Apprentice

Compensation: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime
