Lot Attendant, Operations

Responsible for coordinating the disposition of all vehicles, communicating with customers, working with vendors, and completing necessary tasks to prepare for each sale, stickers, proper window identification. Work with other departments and supervisors to have proper support when preparing for sales.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with mechanic and recon shops to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.
• Track and follow up on necessary paperwork.
• Report any problems to Operations Manager.
• Communicate information on problem units to proper representative.
• Coordinate any outstanding repairs.
• Coordinate gate passing units.
• Distribute paperwork to appropriate depts.
• Coordinate sublet vendors
• Assist in auction sale-day activities in whatever capacity needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or other member of management.
• Work safely following Bel Air Auto Auction safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Wear and use appropriate safety equipment at all times while working in specific areas.
• Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Must be able to work overtime, as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude needed.
• Customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task Excellent organizational skills Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Valid drivers’ license and good driving record
• Ability to drive automatic and standard transmission vehicles
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, climb in and out of vehicles throughout the day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
