BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 Company, is hiring a Logistics Supervisor II for our GOCO (government owned contractor operated) facilities located in Radford, VA . This role will report to the Radford Logistics Manager. Successful candidate should be skilled in inventory control and materials management.
This position is 100% on-site at Radford, VA location.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Location/Travel/Schedule:
- This position will require up to 10% of travel.
- Supervise union and/or non-union logistics employees.
- Develop and manage cycle count process.
- Develop and manage inventory metrics.
- Support the classification of inventory.
- Implement inventory reduction process.
- Work with Operations/Maintenance to ensure continuity of supply of parts.
- Collaborate with Purchasing & Planning to ensure appropriate min/max levels.
- Ensure Government Property compliance as it relates to inventory.
- Ability to lead and/or support continuous improvement projects.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Ability to remain motivated and meet program objectives.
- Good communication skills
- Experience in MS Office
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and team building skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Materials
- Knowledge of federal regulations related to inventory control.
- Previous management experience.
- Experience working in a GOCO environment.
