We are looking for Logistics Supervisor to help us meet production and quality goals. As a Trex Logistics Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for assisting in the coordination, direction, and collaboration of the day-to-day Kitting processes. In addition, you’ll be an essential component in the management of a diverse workforce and the integration of these associate in supporting the success of the Kitting operations. This role is key member of our Operations team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work as a team to drive our “people first” culture.
- Develop, promote and maintain a safe workplace. Maintain a high level of safety awareness, ensuring that all employees are aware that safety is the company’s number one priority.
- Organize and manage day-to-day operation of kitting personnel to ensure accurate and efficient completion of kitting production orders.
- Ability to create an inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive and contribute effectively.
- Manage daily staffing of full-time employees and collaborate with staffing agencies to manage temporary labor.
- Monitor and ensure company compliance with all policies and procedures including Safety, Quality and Human Resources.
- Commitment to best practices relating to disability accommodation and inclusion within the workforce.
- Maintain effective employee relations through employee coaching and development.
- Incorporate problem resolution and performance modification follow-ups to resolve employee matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Assess individual performance of team members.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
- Work with other supervisors and team members to develop plans for resource utilization.
- Manage KPIs, payroll accuracy outstanding projects and performance appraisals.
Supervises: Kitting, Packaging, and Logistics Technicians.
Weekly Schedule:2nd Shift 3:00PM - 11:00PM, Monday-Friday
REQUIREMENTS
Three-to-five years of supervisory experience in a production or distribution environment is required, as well as knowledge of RFSmart and Microsoft Office. Supply chain or Logistics experience preferred. Bilingual skills are preferred.
