Job Responsibilities:
- Assist DECD Logistics Management Specialist
- Develop DECD Logistics plans
- Revise and maintain DECD Vehicle Maintenance Manual
- Provide communications support to incident operations
- Develop and maintain the DECD Logistic Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Assist in Pre-Scripted Mission Assignment (PSMA) identification and assignment duties during actual events, planning activities, and exercises
- Assist DECD Logistics in the analytics, review, updating of logistical operational guidelines addressing changes in authority, organization, and interdepartmental relationships.
Required Qualifications:
- The ability to obtain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)
- 3+ years experience and a BA/BS degree
- Place of performance is in Washington, D.C. A hybrid telework options are available.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently and have a strong attention to detail
- Strong background in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to obtain Security Clearance

- Currently possess a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) status
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and to think conceptually, strategically and learn quickly
- Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, and work on several projects simultaneously
Location: Washington, D.C. – must be on site at client facility 2 days a week
Federal Contracts: This position involves working on federal contracts that require all workers on the contract to be U.S. Citizens. Additionally, some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
