Ignite Digital has a fantastic opportunity for a consultant to provide logistics and program management support for Expeditionary Platform Integration efforts in the Charleston, SC area. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is a motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to perform a variety of program management support functions. The candidate will provide Logistics, program management, and general administrative support for NIWC Atlantic.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Strategic lifecycle logistics support to the Counter Threat Platforms Team, which includes but is not limited to material management and material procurement across several projects.
  • Assist and perform data calls, shipment tracking, program/project inventories, and interface with other contract-supporting entities.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings. Capture meeting minutes; assign and track action items; and coordinate and facilitate leads and working groups to meet project objectives.
  • Access databases to export, analyze, and deliver weekly and monthly metrics. Present information and recommendations to clients in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide program management support for Expeditionary Integrated Product Teams activities to include managing project budgets/costs, spend plans, schedules, performance-to-plan reporting, briefing slides, and risks.
  • Evaluate current processes and procedures and initiate process improvement actions to improve team performance.
  • Learn and understand Command and team organizational relationships to effectively communicate information appropriately and effectively.
  • Assist with technical and business analyses and reporting for assigned projects.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on products and processes to ensure compliance with policies and directives.
  • Establish and maintain knowledge management best practices using MS Office 365 tool suite. Leverage tool suite capabilities to maximize efficiencies in communication and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint will be vital.
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or Statistics, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems
  • Three (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, including logistics principles, practices, and processes.
  • Experience with procurements (PCARDS, MILSTRIP, DLA if possible), DOD inventory processes and procedures, and methods to track all logistics action items.
  • One (1) year of experience in support of C4ISR systems. Demonstrated skills, including Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, and Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong writing skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages both for detailed analytical reports and executive summaries.
  • Experienced user of SharePoint. Ability to create and manage SharePoint sites to include site permissions, lists, and libraries.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CMPro
  • Experience with NAVSEA and NIWC organizations, processes, and procedures
  • Professional Logistics Certification – i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 1
  • Two-Three (2-3) years of Contract / Financial Management experience and/or direct work experience with job responsibilities.
  • Familiar with NAVY ERP and the Procurement Package Development Process
  • Strong logistics/acquisitions background
  • Experience with ICAPS (Interactive Computer-Aided Provisioning System), PDREP (Product Deficiency Reporting and Evaluation Program), and ILIT (Integrated Logistics Information Tool)
  • Lessons Learned and MS Project experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

Salary: $60k + to align with education and experience
