Job Description

Logistics Planner - Kennesaw, GA
This is an exempt position.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage all 3rd party warehouse activities, transactions, movements, inventory, etc
  • Manage all 3rd Party Logistics vendors relationships, accountability, metrics, etc
  • Manage transitions between internal warehouses
  • Manage and Coordinate receivals and shipments from internal warehouses
  • Work with vendors to expedite deliveries where needed
  • Track and manage logistics spend
  • Manage all receiving issues
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge around logistics, 3PLs, warehousing, inbound/outbound processes
  • Negotiation and vendor management
  • Statistical Analysis
  • Comfortable with facilitating meetings
  • Critical thinking skills & problem solving skills
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, ideally in a Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations, or Engineering Field.
Required Experience:
  • 1 Year in a supply chain or logistics based role
Desired Experience:
  • >3 Years in a supply chain or logistics based role
  • Experience with customs/imports/exports
