SalaryLogistics Manager
Our business is looking for a talented and qualified Logistics Manager to join
our team. In this position, you will be responsible for all supply chain
management duties including selecting carriers, researching shipping
methods, assessing budgets, and organizing storage.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail in order
to oversee daily operations and logistics employees, shipping carriers. In
addition to having excellent organizational skills, you should also possess in-
depth knowledge of logistics and inventory systems.
Logistics Manager Responsibilities
1. Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates
2. Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries, warehouse
transfers.
3. Supervising logistics, truckloads, transportation, shipping claims.
4. Organizing warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process
shipments.
5. Responding to any issues or complaints.
6. Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
7. Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company
procedures and operations.
8. Evaluating budgets and expenditures.
9. Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement
enhancements.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
to continuously improve the freight forwarding process.
11. Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO
requirements.

deadlines.
20. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable rates and terms with
carriers and suppliers.

Required Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in logistics, supply chain
management, or a related field is preferred.
2. Previous experience in freight forwarding or logistics is highly desirable.
3. Knowledge of international shipping documentation and customs
clearance procedures.
4. Familiarity with shipping regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Proficiency in computer systems and software used in logistics
operations.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English
language. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
8. Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and work with tight
deadlines.
9. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
10. Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
11. This person will work at our Norcross office 3 days a week and our Marietta office 2 days a week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
