Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Facility is looking for locum CRNA coverage May 28th to August 16th. Will need 4 days per week 0630-1700.

We have an MD for support on each day, but the CRNAs practice independently. We do a lot of orthopedics, general surgery, gyn procedures, GI cases, urology, ENT, and plastics. We do have some OB, but will not place a locum there unless they are comfortable with OB and wanted to, so this is not a deal breaker. Our MDs do the epidurals and blocks, so that is not needed. Need to be comfortable placing spinals though. Will be keeping them in our main OR which is 6 rooms and a GI suite. Need to be able to do their own preops and put in orders (site will show them how in epic).
Details:

• 6:30a-430p or 5p.
• 4 days per week. The client is okay with a rotating day off or a set schedule each week, but cannot have every Friday off as it is the most needed day.

• Required Procedures: Able to do MAC/TIVA/General cases, practice independent, place spinals

• No trauma, hearts or vascular
• CRNAs see/preop first cases of the day and run their own rooms. MD available if needed.
• Their MDs do the epidurals and blocks so that is not needed.
• The provider must be comfortable placing spinals.
• Providers must be able to do their own preops and put in orders (site will show them how to in epic training).

• NBCRNA Certified - REQUIRED
• Active NE License - REQUIRED, OR IMLC
• Clean Malpractice/background - PREFERRED
• Local candidates - PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED
• Availability stated at name clear - REQUIRED
• COVID VACCINATION - REQUIRED
• Supporting certifications such as DEA, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS - REQUIRED
