- Monitor online applications received and assign to Loan Officers as needed.
- Obtain daily interest rate pricing from investors and monitor the movement of the market.
- Lock in customer interest rates with investors through pricing and loan origination software.
- Calculate, compare, and confirm profit margins with locked loans.
- Work with investors regarding any lock changes, program changes, lock cancellations, etc. as requested by processors and loan originators.
- Communicate with originators and processors regarding any pricing discrepancies.
- Report lock activity weekly and monthly to Secondary Marketing Manager, Mortgage Operations Manager and Mortgage President.
- Maintain pricing and profit spreadsheet and verify discrepancies of locked loan pricing vs. purchased loan pricing.
- Report upcoming lock expirations weekly to originators and processors.
- Participate in the bank's High-Performance Rewards Connections program.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including, but not limited to the following: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act: Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc.
- Bachelor's degree
- General computer experience to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Detail oriented with excellent clerical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
