Job Description:
As a Truck Driver for OK Industries Inc, your primary responsibility will be to distribute bulk chicken feed from the mill in Heavener, OK, to surrounding area chicken houses. The feed is delivered using a 40' boom auger bottom bulk tanker. You'll be responsible for loading and unloading the product at the mill and delivering it to unattended chicken houses into marked bins, which can hold up to 50 tons of feed. You must be able to safely operate a hydraulic boom trailer and understand bulk tanker operation. Occasionally, you may need to assist with hauling live chickens to processing plants in Heavener or Fort Smith, which would involve drop & hook of flatbed trailers stacked with metal cages.
Shift Details:
- Schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Monday - Friday (6-day work week is necessary about once a month)
- Start Time: 1500-1800 (with an opportunity to move to a day shift in the future based on seniority)
- Hours: 12 hours
- Home Daily
- Driver PTO: Immediately (1.5 hours per week), 6th Anniversary (2.5 hours per week), 19th Anniversary (3 hours per week)
Additional Pay Details:
- $33.00 per load (average of 3-4 deliveries per night) - Load rate increases by $0.50 per year up to $34.00
- Multi-stop loads pay $33.00 per farm
- $75 miscellaneous pay (equipment moves, safety training, etc.)

- No drop/hook pay
- No equipment take-home option
- No riders or pets allowed
- Truck must remain at the account during time off
- Slip seating required
