SUMMARY
Perform daily check calls with Graebel Van Lines fleet, in compliance with the check call process. Assists with driver relations regarding concerns, needs or complaint resolution. Ensures driver adherence with governmental and Graebel Van Lines standards and policies. Interacts with all members of the Central Dispatch team, branch agents, and independent contractors in order to deliver quality service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in ensuring driver adherence of Graebel Van Lines standards and communicates any substandard performance or enforcement suggestions to supervisor.
- Updates and verifies computer 'Driver Trip' screen for each check call.
- Assists with driver relations regarding concerns, needs or complaint resolution.
- Monitors the progress of shipments and assists in resolving any potential/current service issues.
- Coordinates shipment changes and authorizations to booking agents.
- Maintains accurate departmental records in order to document operations
- Prepares and forwards all Special Compensation and deadhead forms to supervisor.
- Assists in driver assignments.
- Assists in customer calls regarding pickup/delivery inquiries and filing of claims.
- Prepares and distributes dispatch alert and critical changes to appropriate personnel
