Tri Pointe Connect is looking for an experienced, problem solving individual to join our talented group as a Loan Processing Assistant.
Position Highlights: The Loan Processing Assistant assists the Loan Processors in ensuring all documents have been received for the loan to progress through the life cycle process.
Position Responsibilities:
- Order Fraud Guard, flood certificates, 4506T tax transcripts, Social Security Administration verifications, verifications of employment, verification of rent and/or mortgage, order Hazard Insurance, Credit Supplements, VA Appraisals and Certificates of Eligibility, title work, FHA case numbers, CAIVRS and LDP/GSA utilizing FHA Connection and order other documents as needed
- Retrieve FHA/VA documents from the builder partner
- Assist the Loan Processors on other tasks related to the completion of the loan file
- Follow-up as necessary with all parties, ensuring everyone is kept informed
- Communicate internally and externally with appropriate parties throughout the life cycle of the loan
- Document any communication in the loan origination system (Encompass)
- Perform all other duties and assist with projects as needed or assigned
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of clerical/administrative experience, Loan Processing Assistant or Loan Processing experience, preferred
- Prior experience working with a home builder, preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Word
- Prior experience working with a loan origination system, Encompass a plus
