Job Description
Summary: Learn and assist in all functions of consumer Loan Operations. The Loan Operations Specialist will provide the highest level of member service to both internal and external members. Resolve and process daily tasks through ticketing system and give outstanding service to Vibrant members.
Where you will make an impact:
Operations: Resolve assigned tickets in Vibrants ticketing system. Complete and provide members with Adverse Actions. Answer and verify data with third party insurance provider. Upload documents to third party insurance provider for all products through vendor portal. Demonstrates basic knowledge on payment reversals and receivable corrections on all loan products. Able to speak to PMI Payment Facilitation, maintenance and monthly report review.
Product Processing: Processes all loan payoffs, product cancellation and maintenance. Process and review Allied Daily Homeowners Escrow tasks, files and reports. Process all returned mail by properly notating accounts and reaching out to members.
Loan servicing: Complete loan file document maintenance and clean up. Check in both paper and electronic titles. Obtain Maturing Balloons Report and disseminate to proper department to review. File UCC on Loan Programs, Commercial, or Consumer loan products. Complete mortgage satisfactions/releases and recordings.
Focus on Ongoing Professional Development: Participate in education and training provided by the credit union. Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
Do you have what it takes?
High School Diploma or General Education Degree required.
Six months experience and / or training desirable.

To be successful in this position, an individual must be personable, dependable, tactful, accurate, and patient. Must have the ability to focus on multiple tasks on a daily basis. This individual should also possess excellent verbal communication skills and mathematical reasoning ability. They must understand all Vibrant Credit Union products and services. It is essential that this individual understand and abide by the strict confidentiality policies that are necessary in any financial institution.
Environmental and Physical Activity Requirements:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, walking, finger dexterity, reaching, stooping, and grasping functions. The position also often requires reaching, lifting (up to 25 pounds). Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motion activities are also required. Must be able to read print and computer based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy. Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted indoors with controlled degrees of temperatures.
