Loan Operations Servicing Associate

Job Function: Provide general support to lending staff by maintaining loan information on mainframe computer system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Book and service all loans within the organization
• Process loan payments, mail payments, system rejects
• System balancing of the new and renewed loans, payments processed by preparing general ledger entries
• Set up escrow accounts on system
• Maintain reconcilement, credit reporting to agencies, payoff statements and daily reports
• Complete Board reporting and other detailed reports
• Other Duties as assigned

Job Qualifications / Required Skills and Abilities

• Associates Degree in Business, Finance or related field OR equivalent work experience
• One to three years Loan Operations experience preferred, with previous documentation and/or servicing experience
• One to three years Loan Operations experience preferred, with one or more years of accounting experience
• Good oral and written communication skills are important
• Exhibit and maintain high degree of professionalism
• Maintain high degree of confidentiality and integrity
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels of the organization
• Excellent follow through and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exhibit good business acumen
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, computer and office equipment utilization
