Sanitation Technician Schedule:

7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Wednesday-Saturday

Sanitation Technician Starting Pay:

$21.00-23.00 (depending on experience) per hour, paid weekly.

Sanitation Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Power Washing, scraping, and sanitizing assigned areas.
• Floor Care to include use of an automatic scrubber.
• Cleaning will include trash/recycle removal, sweeping, mopping, stocking restrooms, vacuuming, window cleaning, dusting, dust-mopping, and additional tasks outlined in the scope of work.
• Cleaner will be required to comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures including LOTO and proper safety harnessing. Stops risky behavior of others and self.

Qualifications:

• Previous sanitation experience in a warehouse/production setting.
• Must be comfortable with a LOT of walking.
• Must be comfortable climbing stairs and being two to four stories high at times.
• Ability to operate pressure washers and automatic floor scrubbers.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, cleaning chemicals and their safe use.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to wear required PPE (gloves and steel toe, slip resistant shoes).
• Must be comfortable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, and bending.
• Must be comfortable lifting 40 lbs. independently.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and adhere to all safety guidelines.

We do conduct a Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Industrial Sanitation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL Class B with no automatic restrictions (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Saint Joseph, MO: Relocate before starting work (Required)
