Summary

Provides administrative and sales support for Residential Loan Officers and interacts with customers and members of the Residential Lending Operations team in order to promote Leader Bank’s various mortgage products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to mortgage related telephone inquiries and encourages mortgage business development through telephone contact.
  • Manages client relationship.
  • Reviews and assesses individual needs of the customer by asking appropriate questions and employing active listening skills.
  • Counsel’s customers on mortgage programs by explaining guidelines, program parameters and rate lock options.
  • Screens customers/employees requests and implements the resolution or refers it on to the appropriate individual.
  • Coordinates meetings, mailings and promotions for customers and referral partners
  • Prepares new application packages and assists originators in the distribution to customers.
  • Positively adapts to all learning experiences and changes with the Loan Officer Assistant position and environment.
  • Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with all bank personnel.
  • Understands and adheres to security and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Accurately quote mortgage interest rates to customers according to guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Individual NMLS Registration required (company sponsored)
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and poses a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but may substitute equivalent sales/work experience.

Experience

  • Prior experience with Ellie Mae’s Loan Origination System, Encompass, a plus.
