Loan Officer Assistant – Cape Cod

We have been hired to manage the search for a Loan Officer Assistant for the Cape Cod region. This position has a solid base plus commission.
Essence of the Position
You, as the successful candidate, will provide administrative and sales support for Residential Loan Officers and interact with customers to promote various mortgage products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to mortgage related telephone inquiries and encourage mortgage business development through telephone contact. Then, review and assess customer’s needs through questions and active listening. At this point, you will counsel the customer on mortgage programs by explaining guidelines, program parameters and rate lock options. Finally, accurately quote mortgage interest rates and manage the client relationship.
- Screen customers/employees requests and implement the resolution or refer it on to the appropriate individual.
- Prepare new application packages and assist originators in the distribution to customers.
- Coordinate meetings, mailings and promotions for customers and referral partners.
- Understand and adhere to security and compliance policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Individual NMLS Registration required (company sponsored)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but may substitute equivalent sales/work experience.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and poses a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Prior experience with Ellie Mae’s Loan Origination System, Encompass, a plus.
