Loading Department Associate (2Nd Shift)

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Loading Department Associate to join our team for the 2nd Shift. This position offers an initial training period on the 1st shift at a rate of $17/hour, with the opportunity to transition to the 2nd Shift at a higher rate of $19/hour. The Loading Department Associate will primarily be responsible for loading finished materials onto trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the loading process. Experience operating tow motors is highly desirable, and the ability to handle loads weighing up to 100lbs with assistance is required.

Responsibilities:

• Load finished materials onto trucks for shipment using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Verify the accuracy of loads against shipping documentation and ensure proper securing of materials.
• Assist in the organization and maintenance of the loading area to optimize workflow.
• Collaborate with team members to meet loading schedules and deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating tow motors is a significant advantage.
• Ability to lift and maneuver loads weighing up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in loading processes.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to work 2nd Shift hours.
