Role:

The Junior Talent Buyer position within the Created Content Department at Live Nation is seeking an individual who will play a vital role in the booking process, event coordination, marketing & promotion, show advancing, and settlement processes. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Created Content, this role involves close collaboration with the Created Content talent buying team and various Live Nation stakeholders nationwide. Responsibilities include assisting in managing booking calendars to assess venue availability / hold status, facilitating the confirmation of shows, and supporting marketing strategies by compiling ticket sales counts, assisting with promotional offers, and coordinating marketing efforts across multiple promotional channels to drive additional ticket sales. The ideal candidate will also help coordinate new shows, distribute marketing materials, and aid our team, thereby contributing to the overall success of our events. Additionally, taking a proactive approach to tasks such as date clearance, contract management, and venue booking will be essential in driving seamless event execution and success, while also gaining valuable experience in talent buying, marketing, promotion, and event coordination within the industry. Candidates with extensive music knowledge, experience in nightlife, social media knowledge, and marketing skills are highly desirable for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calendar Management: Assist with comprehensive and up-to-date schedule using weekly searches and updates for all available venues. Then Track venue availability. Assist clearing event dates with buyers and GMs. After date(s) are cleared track next steps, including offer creation, confirmation, marketing, contracts, show settlement, NSRs … etc.
  • Marketing Support: Help compile weekly ticket sales and assist in implementing actionable marketing strategies. Including all marketing channels, Email Campaigns, promotional activities on social media.
  • Show Offers: Help review Offers in ROME (SALESFORCE). Once approved, help send out as needed. Remove all dated, stale, or unapproved offers from ROME (SALESFORCE). Help create, track, and remove all current holds in ROME (SALESFORCE).
  • Show Confirmations: Help prepare show confirmation templates sent to GMs, Buyers. Coordinate and track new shows, Announce dates, pre-sales, on-sales, tours, date, and rescheduling.
  • Marketing Assets: Help secure, distribute marketing materials/assets, marketing confirmation letters to LN marketing teams and/ box office.
  • Artist Advance Coordination: Help send artist advance info to PMs and GMs - Artist riders, wire / ACH, settlement instructions, and W9s.
  • Settlement Reports: Assist attaining settlement reports and distributing to agents/promoters. Send signed Settlements back to PMs/GMs/Accounting.
  • Contracts: Help redline and add LN Template to all contracts for signature. Send signed contracts to agents, promoters, and GMs/PMs. Help create Contracts for Promoters who don’t send their own contracts.
  • Weekly Tracker: After review with team, highlight show by show events that need subcategory changes.
  • Tracking Existing and New Parties : Update Created Content spreadsheets as needed with social media, IG, website and IP decks uploaded into BOX for group sharing and disbursement to GMs or Buyers.
  • Created Content Deck: Help design, update Created Content Deck(s) and Promoter Deck(s) as needed.
  • Scheduling: Help as needed create meetings for Created Content Team with Buyers, GMs, existing promoters and potential partners.
  • New IP and Parties: Attend as needed attend various parties and venues. Assist in the A&R process for new parties.
  • Assist Booking Smaller Venues: Help book smaller parties into smaller rooms as needed.

The expected compensation for this position in California is:

$66,560.00 USD - $80,000.00 USD
