We are seeking a responsible and caring individual to join our team as a Babysitter/Nanny. As a Babysitter/Nanny, you will be responsible for providing quality care and supervision for children in a safe and nurturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in childcare or daycare settings.
Duties:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, emotional, and intellectual development
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, ensuring they receive proper nutrition
- Assist with basic household tasks related to childcare, such as tidying up play areas and washing dishes used during mealtime
- Follow established routines and schedules to ensure consistency and stability for the children
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a caregiving or daycare capacity is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and parents
- Reliable transportation to commute to the designated work location
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass a background check
