We have an immediate need for an experienced, energetic, conscientious, detail-oriented, organized, motivated, personable attorney with excellent writing and communication skills to join our boutique, AV-rated, 19 year old, Loop defense tort litigation firm which recently expanded to Nashville, Tennessee.
You will have day to day, independent responsibility developing a game plan on each of your cases to efficiently move our clients' matters to resolution and executing that plan with supervision and mentoring. You will manage all aspects of your cases:
- Pleadings
- Motion practice including dispositive, substantive motions
- Responding to and propounding discovery and requests to admit
- Taking and defending (f)(1)(2) and (3) witness depositions
- Work with retained liability, medical and damages experts
- Court appearances
- Case analysis and evaluation
- Jury trials, mandatory arbitrations, mediations and binding arbitrations
- Regular, frequent communication with our clients
Our case load in state and federal court and all over Illinois is a wide variety of:
- Transportation Litigation
- Construction Litigation
- Premises Liability
- Employer Liability
- Product Liability
We are looking for an attorney with an interest in developing business, whether it is business you come in with, business you want to develop or if you want to learn how to develop business, we will help you.
