Litigation Associate

Emmet, Marvin & Martin, LLP is currently seeking a Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of experience, preferably including bankruptcy experience, for its expanding litigation practice. The candidate should possess excellent academic and writing credentials and have prior litigation experience. Responsibilities

· Manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.

· Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects.

· Handle court appearances and depositions.

· Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Qualifications

· 2-4 years of litigation experience.

· Experience with wide range of federal, state, and regulatory financial litigation and white-collar defense. Bankruptcy experience is a plus.

· Licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey bar admission a plus.

· A member in good standing of the New York/New Jersey State Bar.

· J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure.

· Have a professional demeanor with excellent judgment and willingness to take initiative.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
