Role Overview: As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for the high-level operational maintenance, support, and upgrades of complex operating systems, workstations, and servers. Your expertise will ensure the integrity and modernization of our IT infrastructure.

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Ability to obtain SCI access
• Willingness to obtain CI Polygraph
• US Citizenship Required

Technology Stack Expertise:

• Linux administration: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu
• Networking protocols: HAPROXY, DNS, HTTP(S), LDAP(S), SMTP, SNMP, SSSD
• Scripting languages: Shell, Python, Ansible, RegEx
• Storage solutions: Ceph Storage, SANs
• Cloud Technologies: Openstack, Azure, AWS, VMWare
• Containerization: Docker, LXC

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform software installations, upgrades, and patching.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
• Schedule and maintain installations in line with IT policies.
• Monitor systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
• Ensure data integrity through effective software and hardware solutions.
• Plan and implement server modernization.
• Promote standard operating procedures.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Provide infrastructure support for the Open Stack environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience.

Desired Additional Skills:

• Experience with relational databases: MySQL, MariaDB, HadoopDB.
• Certifications: RHCT, RHCSA, A+, Network+, Security+, ITIL Foundations.
