SalaryTitle: Linux Administrator
Location: Chantilly, VA
McIntire Solutions is seeking a Linux Administrator to support our Chantilly Customer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilize your knowledge of Linux, scripting, and Cloud architectures to provide solutions to automate services and processes for a private cloud environment
- Work with a team to design and create a scalable, resilient, and automated private cloud infrastructure
- Analyze stakeholder requirements and design constraints to evaluate optimal solutions in compliance with DoD guidelines
- Build, configure and maintain virtual servers utilizing Linux and scripting skills to automate repetitive tasks
Required Qualifications
- Requirements:
- Logistics experience supporting the US Government
- Strong business communication skills with strong verbal communications to interface effectively
- Security + certification is preferred.
- Requires Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or applicable commercial or DoD experience
- Microsoft Office Skills including Excel, Office, etc.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Type of travel: Continental US
