We have back of house positions available from May through September which include;

Activities & Responsibilities:

• Understands and complies consistently with the restaurant’s cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining the freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
• Keep food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces clean and sanitary for proper food handling.
• Stocks and maintains appropriate levels of food products at line stations to support a smooth service period.
• Bake, roast, fry and grill a variety of meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to our recipes using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Understand proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all of our dishes.
• Assists in food prep and cleaning assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
• Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods.
• Closes the kitchen following the closing checklist for kitchen stations and assists others in closing the kitchen.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.

Requirements:

• Positive attitude, work ethic and strong sense of integrity.
• Ability to lift 25lbs. and reasonable range of motion such as bending, standing, walking, stirring, lifting to complete physical tasks related to responsibilities.
• Reliable and capable of working independently or following specific directives.
• Excellent multi-tasking and has a passion and love for the food and hospitality industry.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
