As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, menu planning, and ensuring food safety in our kitchen. ```Responsibilities:```
- Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Help with meal preparation by following recipes and portion control guidelines
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow during service
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food preparation and handling
```Skills:```
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
- Experience in catering or working in a fast-paced food service environment is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with menu planning and the ability to contribute creative ideas
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented setting

Pay: $17.86 - $21.99 per hour
