Top Deck Savannah is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Cook for our Roof Top Bar in Savannah, Georgia. Top Deck Bar’s prime location above the Cotton Sail Hotel located on River Street resides in the heart of Historic Savannah. With exceptional views of the Talmadge Memorial Bridge, the Savannah River and Historical Bay Street our guests and local residents are provided with the perfect platform to relax while enjoying crafted cocktails and sumptuous food.
Top Deck’s staff strive to provide superior customer service, sumptuous dishes to satisfy the pallet, unique crafted cocktails which culminates in a memorable experience for all of our guests. As a Cook you will play a key role in the success of Top Deck Savannah.
Essential functions for the Cook position are:
· Ability to operate kitchen equipment.
· Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table.
· Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
· Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations.
· Label food and ensure proper rotation.
- Assist other Team Members as needed or when business needs dictate.
The best candidate for the Cook position at Top Deck Savannah will have:
· 1 – 2 years’ cook experience in a professional kitchen.
· Team Player, ability to multi-task, and work within a fast-paced, team environment.
· Ability to use of hands and arms on a continuous basis.
· Ability to continuously bending, reaching and twist.
· A proven track of Customer Service with a smiling friendly attitude.
· Strong organizational skills and leadership qualities.
· An ability to calmly work under pressure despite high volume environment.
· Must be able to work long hours under strenuous conditions.
· Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
