Line Cook/Prep Cook For New Upscale Lounge

Hiring for nite lounge only at this time, 4pm - close, 2pm-close Sat & Sun

Responsibilities:

• Accurately follow recipes & adhere to food preparation processes, including chopping, dicing, cutting, & slicing vegetables. (recipes/presentations will be provided but also open to creativity!)
• Consistently & precisely utilize prep sheets, cleanliness lists, & station checklists.
• Complete hot & cold food preparation assignments accurately, neatly, & promptly.
• Prepare food throughout the shift as needed, anticipating & responding to guest volume with the correct sense of urgency.
• Manage the prep list continuously to support later services & assist fellow team members.
• Maintain proper portion control & consistently monitor food levels.
• Ensure adherence to proper food handling, safety, & sanitation standards during food preparation & cooking.
• Actively participate in ongoing training & development opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests as required.
• Thoroughly maintain & clean equipment as assigned.
• Kitchen staff responsibilities will include being a dishwasher, cook, and prep cook.

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to quickly learn & adapt to the requirements of an upscale lounge setting.
• Preferred experience in a restaurant or bar kitchen, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Open availability & flexibility, with the potential for additional day shifts if interested.
