Smokin Petes Barbecue is a small business in Geneva, NY. We are professional, high-volume, and fun. Smokin Petes goal is to create a delicious and relaxing atmosphere for the customers.

Looking for one strong, experienced line cook who is available Thursday-Friday 2:30-10pm and Saturday-Sunday between 10:30-4:30 (day shift) or 3:30-10pm (evening shift) to support and be a part of our growing team.

We are looking for someone who is capable of working in a fast-paced cook line environment, and strong in the areas of food safety, food prep, customer service and communication. Someone who enjoys and can keep up working in a busy and tight work space, is open to receiving direction and taking action on that direction well; and can effectively multi task. The Line Cook/Prep Cook must be able to work well under pressure and perform assigned tasks by managers & owners. Strong attention to detail is a must.

Be prepared to be away from your cell phone during your shift and directing your attention towards the task at hand!

Some Line Cook/Prep Cook responsibilities include properly prepping food for the line for service, cleaning kitchen equipment, walls & floors. Heating and cooling food to safe serving temperatures efficiently. Sweeping, mopping, talking to customers, stocking/restocking stations, lifting up to 60lbs.

Hours of operation are:

Thursday 4-9pm, Friday 4-9pm, Saturday 12-9pm, Sunday 12-9pm while anticipating opening for more hours starting in May
