LINE COOKS

Job Description:

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Plating prepared foods based on chef’s guidance
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Experience & Education:

• Must have knowledge of plating procedures
• Must have the ability to comply with sanitation guidelines
• Experience in working efficiently in a high volume, production-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to carry oneself in a mature, professional and responsible manner at all times
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, the brand, and the Company
• Service-minded and team-oriented
• Strong attention to detail and hospitality knowledge
• Ability to proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage time and resources
• Willingness and ability to promote a positive team member culture
• Fluency in other languages beneficial

Job Requirements:

• At least 1-year of experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays a must.
• A valid CA Food Handler's card.
• Ability to understand and work with a sense of urgency.

COCINEROS DE LINEA

Descripcion de trabajo:

• Ayudar con el almacenamiento y la configuración de las estaciones de cocina.
• Emplatar alimentos preparados según la guía del chef
• Trabajar con meseros para garantizar que los pedidos se completen de acuerdo con la solicitud y a tiempo
• Lavar y limpiar la cocina y los utensilios de cocina y almacenar el equipo al final de los turnos.
• Asegurarse de que los procedimientos de operación e higiene de la cocina cumplan con los estándares y regulaciones de seguridad alimentaria.

Requisitos:

• Minimo de 1 año en la linea de cocina.
• Horario flexible incluyendo fines de semana y dias festivos es un requisito.
• Necesitara Certificado de Manipulador de Alimentos
• Habilidad de trabajar con sentido de urgencia.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
