Line Cook (Full-Time)

Chefs de France, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida are seeking cooks for our full service dining experiences located in the heart of Central Florida’s premier theme park. Chefs de France is a scratch kitchen specializing in French cuisine. We have opening and closing line shifts (grill, saute, etc), seven days a week, starting as early as 9 am and ending around 11 pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up work station with materials and supplies
• Perform cooking duties and related functions under the supervision of the Chef/Kitchen Manager
• Ensure high levels of food quality that exceed our standards
• Follow established safety standards using safe food handling guidelines
• Ensure compliance with HACCP
• Maintain a clean work area
• Take direction and communicate and clearly

Essential Qualifications/Skills

• 2-4 years culinary experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possess current and proper knowledge of usage and maintenance of kitchen equipment
• Willingness to learn and grow - training will be provided

Desired Qualifications/Skills

• Culinary or hotel/restaurant college degree
• Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably French
