Job SummaryThe University of North Georgia, Department of Nursing is accepting applications for a full-time limited-Term Faculty member for the Family Nurse Practitioner program. Preference will be given to candidates with academic teaching experience and recent advanced practice nursing experience.
Responsibilities- Responsible for teaching graduate students enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs.
- This position includes expectations for teaching, scholarship and service.
- Responsibilities include didactic, clinical, and/or laboratory instruction and clinical site visits in regional health care settings.
- Teaching schedule may require some travel to clinical sites in the metro-Atlanta area and North Georgia region.
- Doctorate in nursing required.
- Minimum of two years' recent experience as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
- Current license in Georgia as a registered professional nurse required.
- APRN certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner required.
