Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time Faculty Positions in the Department of History and Philosophy for the academic year 2023-2024. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities Part-time faculty are hired from the department's pool of applicants on a semester-by-semester basis. Assignments to faculty in the pool are based on departmental needs and are for one or two courses per semester. Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online) and courses maybe be assigned at the Kennesaw or Marietta campus. Qualified out-of-state candidates with demonstrated success in online teaching may be assigned a full online teaching load and are encouraged to apply.Required Qualifications

An earned Master’s/Terminal/Doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in History or Related Field is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching online coursesRecord of past teaching at the undergraduate level.
