Lift Truck Operator Night Shift

Position Overview:
Receiving a pull task with information on the hard surface/carpet tile material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a Lift Truck. Hired candidates will work in either the Shipping, Receiving, Sundries or Moldings Department. The working hours are 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. or 11p.m. - 7 a.m. Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
* Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from locations.*
** Complete paperwork as required
* Wrap and band hard surface/carpet tile materials prepared on pallets. Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment*
** Tape and repair any damaged packaging
* Attendance is an essential function of the job you must comply with the corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy*
** Must adhere to our normal work schedule, i.e. starting and stopping times, and where applicable rotating days
* Must assist in keeping shipping/receiving area clean*
** Must be able to read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders
* Must be able to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)*
** Will train to operate all hard surface/carpet tile powered industrial equipment
* Will work with the rebuilding of pallets and in product rework (as required)*
** Train on breaking down and building of hard surface/carpet tile pallets
* Must be able to work necessary overtime including weekend*
** Must be able to see small numbers and words as displayed on the computer screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.32 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
