Job Summary:
The Lift Truck operator will operate an industrial forkLift Truck to accomplish various materials handlings assignments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including docks and trucks.
- Obtains shipping orders and then identifies, verifies, and transports requested materials accordingly.
- Applies understanding of truck loading capacity and loading schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of required items.
- Uses protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads; once delivered, removes strapping and wrapping, then safely disposes of waste materials in designated containers or areas.
- Reports any problems with material or transportation to manager.
- Manages and piles materials, pallets and other supplies in specified areas.
- Services equipment as needed, reporting mechanical or electrical difficulties to managers.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.

- Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work with little direct supervision.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have an energetic and positive personality capable of working and adapting to changes.
- Team player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment.
- Sitting is continuous, estimated 8+ hours per shift.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to read and write and do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Previous experience driving a Lift Truck.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to work in non-temperature-controlled warehouse, i.e., extreme hot in summers and extreme cold in winters.
