Responsibilities:
1. Emergency Response/First Aid: Recognize and respond effectively in emergencies to ensure the safety of all patrons. Perform First Aid and CPR/AED when necessary.
2. Facility Operations: Perform daily opening and closing duties for all aquatic facilities, contributing to a seamless operation. Inspect the facility daily, promptly reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment to management.
3. Friendly Service: Demonstrate friendliness, approachability, and a positive attitude when engaging with members
4. Overall Presentation: Maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere, contributing to the overall presentation of our aquatic facilities
5. Records Management: Complete records and reports of pool chemicals, contributing to the overall safety and compliance of the facilities.
6. Swim Tests & Policy Enforcement: Facilitate swim tests for patrons aged 12 and under, maintaining accurate records. Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations diligently.
7. Flexibility: Be ready to exercise decision-making skills, think critically, and adapt to variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and potentially hazardous conditions.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: High School Graduate, 17 years of age or older, with a minimum of 1 year of Lifeguard experience.
Certifications: ARC First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer, ARC Lifeguard Certification
Physical Requirements: This is a physically demanding position, involving balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), grasping, talking, swimming, and hearing.
Special Qualifications: Demonstrate leadership and public relation skills, understand facility characteristics, rules, policies, and procedures.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 37 per week
