Life Coach 2Nd Shift Part-Time Weekends

LIF, Inc. (Love is Foundation) is looking for leaders with a desire to make a difference in the lives of ‘male’ adolescents. POSITION: LIFE COACH – Part-Time & Full-Time

Part-Time - (Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun) 8 Hour (24-32/hours Week) 4:00pm -Midnight

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Help young men ( ages 13-18) find direction and reach their full potential
• Ability to empower youth and establish realistic plans to achieve individual goals
• Get to know each of the youth quickly, access their goals efficiently and formulate strategies to help meet their goals
• Utilize electronic data system to document and track services; (such as Daily Progress Notes and Critical Incident Reports)
• Utilize various strategies to encourage and motivate youth to meet their goals
• Dispense residents medications and properly document medications given
• Adhere to organization’s policies and procedures providing an environment of consistency
• Understand the importance of safety and how to prevent critical incidents
• Help to maintain a clean living environment at all times
• Teach youth appropriate life skills and help work through negative behaviors
• Transport youth to and from appointments and social events; safely and timely
• Build positive relationships with youth DAILY; goal of every day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have graduated High School or completed GED
• Must have a current driver’s license (good driving record)
• Must pass a KBI and FBI background check
• Must be able to work with ‘male’ adolescents with behavior problems
•  2 or more years of experience working with male adolescents with behavioral type issues or continuing education in the field of Psychology, Social Work, or Criminal Justice preferred 

• CPR Certification preferred
