Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor of License Clinical Social Worker to join our team. As the clinician, you will provide mental health counseling and therapy services to individuals of all ages. Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients to assess their mental health needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client goals and needs
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in times of emotional distress
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused therapy
- Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies to manage mental health symptoms
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and coding for billing purposes
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment interventions
- Provide education and support to clients' families regarding mental health issues
Skills:
- Valid license as a Professional Counselor in the state of [State]
- Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including PTSD care
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation requirements
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professional boundaries
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred
