Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse in a School Setting:
Implement and follow the Care Plan for each client, obtain MD orders as appropriate.
Provide medication administration, perform treatments as ordered.
Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes.
Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with supervisor.
Qualifications of the Registered Nurse in a School Setting:
Must be currently licensed as an LPN in MA.
Previous experience as an LPN is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and client care skills.
First aid/CPR certification required.
