United Health Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse- ED, Acute to join our BGH Emergency Department 02 department at UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$25.12 - $35.87 per hour, depending on experience.
Licensed Practical Nurse- ED, Acute / Overview
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider.

Education/Experience

• Minimum Required:
  • Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing
• Preferred:
  • N/A

• Minimum Required:
  • Current New York State Practical Nurse License, a Limited Permit, or ability to practice within the 90 day grace period allowed by New York State guidelines
• Preferred:
  • Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)

• Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, pushing, and lifting.
• Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
