Summary
PM Pediatric Care is seeking a
Licensed Master Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Program. This opportunity will provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders in an extended primary care collaborative model.
Description
**This position is fully remote and the pay range is $30 - $41 per hour with an additional evening differential
**Requirement of minimum of 10 hours per week sometime between 3-9pm Monday - Friday and/or Saturdays 9am - 5pm.
- Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence-based practices
- Provide individual, family and group therapy for patients using evidence-based treatment modalities
- Participate in collaborative care team meetings
- Maintain licensure and professional development as required by licensing board
- Complete required documentation including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
- Work closely with patient, family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment
- Maintain a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly or a minimum of 5 patients daily
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required
- Relevant therapist license in the state(s) practicing (LMSW- NY)
- MUST have experience with pediatric and adolescent patients
- Experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds
- Knowledge of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent short-term counseling skills
- Experience with discharge planning
Compensation:
Compensation Dependent Upon Location and Experience
